About

Joanna Alcruz, Ph.D. is an assistant professor in the Educational Leadership for Diverse Communities doctoral program at Molloy College. Her background is in educational psychology and educational measurement and assessment, with more than a decade of experience in the study of teaching and learning. Her expertise and research interests cover data-driven instruction in various modalities, motivation and academic procrastination, and best practices in traditional and non-traditional assessments. She is a co-founder of Cognition and Learning Lab (CogLe) at Molloy College.
