The ebb and flow of the therapeutic journey: Adjusting theoretical orientations in clinical practice.

Research & Scholarship: Book/ReportBook

Abstract

Clinical reflexivity is a process in our daily music therapy practice that challenges us to be responsive to in-the-moment needs of those we work with. One way that reflexivity is expressed is through adjustments to theoretical orientation in response to a someone’s growth or progression in their therapeutic journey.
