About

Dr. Raymond Blanchard is a recent graduate from Montclair State University's (MSU) Counseling PhD program. While at MSU, Dr. Blanchard served as a Doctoral Fellow and President of Chi Sigma Mu chapter of Chi Sigma Iota (CSI). Dr. Blanchard's area of research focuses on school mental health and LGBTQ issues in counseling. His dissertation focused on the concept of induction applied to licensed mental health counselors (LMHC) working in school based mental health clinic settings. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Molloy University. Outside of the academic world, Dr. Blanchard has worked as a bilingual clinical supervisor and LMHC in school based settings for over 10 years. He is licensed in New York and New Jersey, as well as a National Certified Counselor and Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors. He is an active leader in the counseling field serving on several organization board and committees including American Counseling Association of New York (ACA NY), North Atlantic Region of the American Counseling Association (NAR ACA), CSI, and Association for Children and Adolescent Counseling (ACAC).
