Tom Kenny is an Associate Professor and Chairperson for the Communications and Art Departments at Molloy University. Tom is also the Program Director for TV and Media Production. He teaches courses such as TV Studio Production, Video Editing, Media Literacy, History of Media, Social Media, Online Journalism, Podcasting, and Screenwriting. Tom has published several books, most recently Social Media and Genre Studies with Lexington Books. He also co-founded the New Media major and minor at Molloy University. Tom is involved in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the campus television studio and media lab. He earned his Ph.D. from Long Island University in Information studies.
